Michael Lax "Primaries" Serving Set
Rare, hard-to-find serving dishes designed by Michael Lax for Iroquois China. The Primaries line is a graphic, black-and-white exploration of complementary forms. Our set includes a hot or cold beverage dispenser (18.25" high); a large covered casserole dish (11" round); a smaller covered casserole dish (9" round); four cubes (two black and two white, 5" square); a pair of cruets with wooden stoppers (5.5" high); and three dip serving plates with wooden lids (10" round; one plate is missing its lid).
The cube sits under the beverage server and holds a can of Sterno to keep your mulled wine, tea, or coffee warm.
The set dates to the 1960s and is in excellent condition, with the only flaw being a chip to the rim of the large casserole dish.
