Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama starting working with her signature motifs of polka dots and netting at the age of ten. This striking publication created for her Victoria Miro exhibition in 2007/2008 is comprised of two volumes. Polka-dotted Volume 1 offers an essay about Kusama's work by Jo Applin and an extensive survey of her polka-dotted paintings, sculptures and installations. Ink-drawn Volume 2 has an interview with the artist conducted by Glenn Scott Wright and prints of her large, meticulous ink drawings for the Victoria Miro exhibit.
