Open Air Modern is not a traditional dusty used book shop our store is a bright welcome modern showroom. Our specialty is art, photography, design, architecture, exceptional cook books and unusual non fiction. Most books are hard to find or out-of-print. Further we have a hefty depth of gently read paperback fiction and literature.

We are dedicated to making OAM a resource for people who have a passion for discovering great books.

Along side our books we are purveyors of mid century modern furniture.  Our shop is a great resource to find very affordable Danish modern, American modern, pieces from the 1950's through the 1980's. Take a look at the furniture page to see what we have available and peak at what we've recently sold.

Web site updates occur twice a week, but we strongly urge folks to come to our shop as items sell rapidly right off our showroom floor.
We welcome phone and email inquires and items not marked "SOLD" may be purchased through our secure payment system.
