Open Air Modern is not a traditional dusty used bookshop—our store is a bright welcome modern showroom. We specialize in art, photography, design, and architecture books, exceptional cookbooks, and unusual non-fiction. Many books are hard to find or out-of-print. We also have a good selection of gently-read paperback fiction and literature.

We are dedicated to making OAM a resource for people who have a passion for discovering great books.

Along with our books, we are purveyors of mid-century modern furniture. Our shop is a great resource for affordable Danish modern and American modern pieces from the 1950's through the 1980's. Take a look at the furniture page to see what we have available and peek at what we've recently sold.

Web site updates occur twice a week, but we strongly urge folks to come to our shop as items sell rapidly right off our showroom floor. We welcome phone and email inquires and items not marked "SOLD" may be purchased through our secure payment system.
