Original 1960s vintage fiberglass shell side chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Scarce and highly sought-after Cobalt colorway, sometimes called Robin’s Egg Blue, only produced for a short period in the late 1960s. Shell has its original finish, with uniform color and distinct thready texture throughout. Available as shown — mounted on a vintage H base. Additional base styles available, including vintage stacking, wood dowel bases, and Eiffel bases. Shell is stamped with manufacturer's label underneath. Shell is in beautiful vintage condition, with varying degrees of age-appropriate wear. Other colors available if you would like a mixed set.
