Hardoy Butterfly Chair

2,200.00

The iconic Hardoy Butterfly Chair. Also known as the BKF chair which stands for architects Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan, and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy who designed this ubiquitous form in 1938. This example is from the 1960s, and is very high quality—stitching is sound and the thick, butterscotch leather is supremely attractive with a gentle patina which will ripen handsomely with time. Black powder-coated wire frame creates a light and airy space to support the suspended slung leather seat, true to the Butterfly Chair's intention and form.
