Early CH-27 lounge chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen. Constructed from solid oak, the open frame features beautiful sculptural details at the back rest. Wide and sturdy armrests enhance the comfort level. The original hand-woven rattan seat and backrest is sturdy and firm. Chair is in wonderful vintage condition, with an attractive patina to the robust oak frame and woven seat. Stamped with the maker's mark on the underside of the armrest. Denmark, 1950s.
