When you have an item in your shopping cart, you will see three shipping options: customer pick-up; local delivery; and long-distance delivery. You must choose one to complete the check-out process. Please call if you're not sure which option to select.


You're welcome to do the heavy lifting yourself! Furniture purchased online or over the phone must be picked up in a timely manner. (If you cannot pick up the item within several days, call to make alternate arrangements.) Pick-ups must occur during regular business hours and you must notify us of your plans, since other pieces of furniture often must be moved to make your piece accessible. Be sure to measure your vehicle to ensure the item will fit. Bring a strong friend and a blanket or two to protect your piece as it travels home.


We offer blanket-wrapped local delivery in the New York City area. Delivery ranges from $85-$250 depending on the item's weight, size, and destination. Your new item is delivered inside your home, unwrapped, and furniture legs are reattached if necessary. If you have any questions about local delivery please give us a call.


We use Plycon for long-distance shipping. Items are securely blanket wrapped and delivered inside the home. Shipments generally take 2-3 weeks to reach the West Coast. While we do our best to provide accurate quotes, some items of greater value require additional insurance and handling costs; in such cases we reserve the right to adjust the final delivery charge. Plycon can also arrange international shipping; please call for more information.


Shell chairs (with the bases removed and boxed separately) can be sent by USPS domestically and internationally. Multiple shells can be sent in one box. Please inquire for rates.


We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express on our secure server. For international customers, a bank wire transfer is required. We accept Chase Quick Pay and Paypal also, inquire within for more details.


Prices are net, and do not include shipping charges. Sales tax will be added for all residents of New York State. Buyer is responsible for any additional international fees or taxes unforeseen by shipping quotes.


All items are sold as-is. All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges. We do our best to faithfully describe the condition of items; but it is expected that our vintage or antique items have age-appropriate marks of wear, and we strongly encourage items to be physically inspected prior to purchase. Unless prior arrangements are made with OAM, all items unclaimed in excess of seven days will be subject to a surcharge of $25/day. Any items left unclaimed for more than thirty days will become the property of OAM.
